Privacy Policy
Effective August 2026
Headwater Holdings, LLC ("Headwater," "we," or "us") respects the privacy of every person who visits our website or contacts us about their business. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who can access it.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form on our website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Any information you choose to include in the message field
That is all. We do not collect any information automatically beyond what your browser sends to our hosting provider as part of a normal page request (IP address, browser type, referring URL). We do not use this server-level data for tracking or profiling.
No tracking, no analytics, no cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics software, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, remarketing tags, or any form of behavioral tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording, and no advertising technology of any kind. We do not build visitor profiles and we do not share browsing data with anyone.
How we use your information
Information you submit through the contact form is used for one purpose: to evaluate whether there may be a mutual fit between your business and Headwater. We may use your email address to respond to your inquiry and to continue a conversation you have started. We will never use it to send marketing emails, newsletters, or unsolicited messages.
Confidentiality of business inquiries
We understand that reaching out about a possible sale is sensitive. Your inquiry and everything you share with us is treated as confidential. Specifically:
- Your inquiry and its contents are never disclosed to your employees, customers, competitors, brokers, or other intermediaries.
- The information you provide is used solely to evaluate a possible transaction with Headwater.
- Only James Hambrick and advisors bound by professional confidentiality obligations will have access to your information.
This privacy policy is not a non-disclosure agreement. If our conversation advances to the point where detailed business information would be exchanged, we would sign a mutual NDA before that step.
Please do not send financial statements, tax returns, or other sensitive financial documents through the contact form. If you would like to share detailed materials, ask us for a secure channel and we will arrange one.
Third-party processors
Your form submission is processed by Formspree, a form handling service that receives and forwards the data you enter. Formspree's privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. Our website is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs. Vercel's privacy policy is available at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any other third party.
How long we keep your information
We retain inquiry data for as long as it is relevant to a possible transaction or ongoing conversation, then for a reasonable period afterward for our records.
Deletion on request
You may ask us to delete all information we hold about you at any time by emailing contact@headwater-holdings.com. We honor deletion requests promptly.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. We limit access to inquiry data to those with a legitimate need to evaluate it. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable steps to protect the information entrusted to us.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your protections without giving you notice.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
